Do you accept walk-ins or do I need an appointment? We work by appointment only in order to provide our brides personal attention.​ Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. call to set up an appointment (630) 253-6699.

What do I wear to a bridal gown appointment? We suggest bringing a supportive nude strapless or convertible bra, as well as any shape wear you’d like to wear under your dress?   You’re also more than welcome to forgo a bra if you don’t plan to wear one on your wedding day as most dresses have the structure to support you without one.

What is the price point of your bridal gowns? Our gowns range from $200.00 - $2,000.00.  If you are working within a specific price point make please let us know so we can help you find your perfect bridal gown. 

How do I know what size to buy:  Wedding, Bridesmaid and Formal Dresses run on the smaller side, have your measurements taken by a professional seamstress.  Click here for more details Measuring Tips.

How long are bridal gown appointments? Our bridal gown appointments are 2 hours long.​

How long before my wedding should I buy my wedding gown?  We recommend starting 8-12 months before your wedding day.  Give yourself time to enjoy the shopping for the perfect wedding gown, as well as extra time for alterations.  We can certainly work in a shorter time frame if necessary, but please keep in mind it will depend on the designer of the wedding gown.

How long before the wedding should I order my bridesmaids or mother of the Bride dresses? Bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses should be ordered five months before the wedding.

Shipping Policy:

Stander Shipping
Item(s) shipped through USP for continental U.S. with a tracking number and insurance for the full amount.  Orders outside the continental U.S. will be shipped through United States Post Office (USPS) and with a tracking number and insurance for the full amount.

Upgrading Shipping
Upgrading Shipping will only speed up shipping times; it will not speed up production time.

Orders with Multiple Items
Orders with multiple items will be shipped as one shipment once completed.

Signature Required
A signature will be required on all orders over $100 or as requested.

Standard Delivery
Unless an expedited service is requested, your order should arrive with the time listed on the item(s). (Saturdays and Sundays are not counted as business days)

International Deliveries
**Taxes, Duties, Tariffs and/or Brokerage Fees** cannot be held responsible for any additional charges such as taxes, duties, tariffs, or brokerage fees that may apply to international orders.

When you place an order with Shelby Ashley Bridal Fashions, you will receive an e-mail confirmation shortly after placing your order. You will then receive another e-mail once your item(s) have shipped with a tracking number.  Most manufacturers take around 12 weeks for them to get the merchandise to Shelby Ashley Bridal Fashions. During peak seasons, some manufacturers may require additional time. It will normally take another 5-7 business working days for us to get the merchandise to you. When a manufacturer gives us a ship date, they are normally right on with that date. We only deal with the best manufacturers in this industry. We stand behind these ship dates. If we did not, we would not be in business today.
